About The Event
On the first Wednesday of each month, in our new location, TMDC hosts their monthly club meeting. Doors open at 5:15, and the meeting begins at 6 pm. Each month we have different guest speakers, speaking on various issues from Veterans Rights, local government, the environment, and discussing other issues on our ballot.
For our August meeting, we are honored to have Zachary Principe return to update us on the vital conservation efforts shaping the Tehachapi Mountains.
Zachary Principe is the Associate Director of Stewardship at The Nature Conservancy, where he works on the front lines of large-scale land conservation, science-driven habitat management, and ecological connectivity in California.
With decades of expertise in protected area management, Zachary has been instrumental in visionary conservation efforts—most notably the acquisition and stewardship of the Frank and Joan Randall Preserve in the Tehachapi Mountains.
