About The Event
Keep America Beautiful has been working to promte cleanliness and prevent the buildup of litter since 1953, and they've been faciltating the Great American Cleanup sine 1998. Their goal now is to organize the removal of 25 billion pieces of litter from parks, waterways and public spaces by July 4th, 2026.
Here in Tehachapi, we will be joining other environmentalists in Kern County on April 26th when do our part to collect and dispose of litter in our own community.
Meet us at 10:00 AM in the Albertsons parking lot near Coldwell Banker. Please wear long sleeves, jeans, sturdy closed toe shoes and work gloves. Hard hats, grabber sticks, high-visibility vests and trash bags provided.
