Ellen Schafhauser from the Kern County Board of Education Improvement Coalition

The Kern County Board of Education Improvement Coalition is a grassroots coalition of community members, educators, parents, and families united by a shared commitment to improving public education in Kern County. We advocate for strong school governance, support for educators and staff, and the well-being of every student and family in our community. Through organizing, collaboration, and civic engagement, we work to ensure that the Kern County Board of Education serves all of our children — equitably and effectively.

Also, we are proud to announce that Ellen Schafhauser will be representing our coalition as a speaker at the Tehachapi Mountain Democratic Club. Ellen carries our coalition's values and mission with her as she engages with community leaders and advocates across the region. We look forward to the conversations and connections her participation will inspire.
