Greg Ardoin Co-Founder of the Kern County Board of Education Improvement Coalition

"Greg Ardoin is one of the co-founders of the Kern County Board of Education Improvement Coalition, a group committed to making the board more public education-friendly and advocating for all students across Kern County. Greg has presented extensively on the impact of charter schools to organizations throughout the county. With experience in various aspects of education—including serving as a teacher’s aide, math teacher, and math specialist for the Kern County Office of Education—Greg brings a deep understanding of both classroom and district-wide dynamics. While working for the county, Greg also served on the executive board of their local union, representing unionized charter schools.

As part of the coalition, Greg is dedicated to electing board members who champion safe, inclusive education and working collaboratively with current board members to improve understanding of how charter schools affect public districts. Passionate about ensuring that schools are safe, public, and accountable, Greg strives to protect the future of public education in Kern County."
