Noe Garcia, Candidate for California Democratic Party Regional Director District 10
Noe Garcia grew up in Bakersfield, CA as the youngest of 5 siblings and a son of two immigrants from Mexico. Through his various involvements in community service and extracurricular activities at South High, Noe received the Bill Gates Scholarship, providing him a full ride to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he graduated with a B.A in Public Affairs in 2022.Â
While at UCLA, Noe was involved on campus, but still dedicated to working to improve Kern County. After his first year in college, he interned for Assemblymember Rudy Salas. During his second year, Noe was elected as Financial Supports Commissioner in student government. Noe worked as Field Director for Eric Arias’ successful city council race in 2020.Â
As Noe was nearing graduation and preparing to return to his community in Kern, he founded Kern County Young Democrat Leaders (YDL) and was elected as President by his peers. Noe received the Rising Star award by the Kern Democratic Party for his efforts to increase young democratic membership in Kern’s party. Noe proudly serves as Vice-President for the 2025-26 year. He has continued his advocacy and organizing throughout the Central Valley through civic engagement and policy advocacy for the Dolores Huerta Foundation. He is currently leading work to defeat the Republican-led budget that will have massive cuts for our community by organizing town halls, press conferences, and coordinated actions. Â
